Escape
I want but I need an escape.
From me.
From the world
From life and its responsibilities.
I’m stretched
Welly, spent
My heart is torn
Hands tied.
Life is hard
I’m tired
I’m humbled
Tried and fumbled.
Two steps forward and trumble
Am I clumsy
Or, life is messy?
Am I always lacking
Or life has its own lengends in the making ?
I need but I want an escape
I’m spent
Shred
Not lazy, just needing an escape.
