Write EITHER a horror scene in the style of a romance, OR a romance scene in the style of a horror.
Consider the language, mood, themes etc that are typical to each genre, to create a twisted new style!

Candles float in the water around her head.
Burning, flickering -- their wax drips.
The water deep, dark, and still.
Her hair reaches out in pieces like eels.
Her head floats -- alone, and peaceful.
Her blood seeps, darkening the water.
Her killer holds her body, hands stained, on the shore.
He walks into the water,
to send them both far away -- forever.
