**TW: Self harm**

I have small brown scars that go up my arms

They faded over time

The memories have not

Each scar is a memory

A memory that I hate to see

Each scar has a reason why

I wear long sleeves because I’m too shy

And scared to show it to the world

I remember how around the blade my fingers curled

They will judge me

All of them

For what they will see

What they will know

And what I had to do and feel to do so

The scars have faded over time

And they will never know
