Elizabeth and George are forced to leave everything they had ever known and loved. This was a time during which many faced hardship and struggles. In other words this took place during World War 1.

“I don’t want to leave London.” Said Elizabeth Brown.

“We have to, it’s the only way.” Replied George Brown.

Elizabeth cried while packing her bags. Each tear rolling down her cheeks and onto her bags. Her trembling hands were weary. Each item placed into her bag was like a sting in the heart.

“I’m scared for our safety, my love.” Said George trying to comfort his wife.

“I know, I just never thought i’d be forced to leave my home.” Replied Elizabeth while crying into George’s shoulder.

Elizabeth and George stood in front of their house and imagined all the memories they had. Looking at the freshly painted house and fresh cut grass. Soon their house would be bombed and torn apart, just like their memories. Alas they sighed and walked away. Headed into the unknown. That was the last time they had ever saw their beloved home.
