The ground is full of snow

So much so

You’d never see the ricket crawl slow

On its way to eat you starting from below

Rickets you can’t see

If you were to be eaten by one maybe

Once they swallow you whole

They’ll hide as you as the body they’ve stole

While they can have your form

They can never take your being

Your personality

What you dislike

Who you love

So if one day when your friend is a bit odd

Their countenance flawed

Unusual from instances before

Test them with something they’d die for

Like their favorite sweater

Say you’ll take it cause of the chilly weather

The friend will nod as if the thing is insignificant

Unknowing it failed the test

Now you have to put them to permanent rest
