swallow pills everyday to numb their face. No emotion to be found in a sea of plastered lips, tight skin, & unnerving smiles. It’s hard to ignore the desperation of beauty everywhere I go. With lines out the door at pharmacies, I have to wonder how we reached this level. Was our society always this vain? The women so oppressed by tying our worth to our beauty?
