Stop The Clock
“We’re in this together.” Luka realised as the words left his mouth. “But, im not sure i can trust you”
“It dosent make a difference if you do.” The other man sighed.
“It does”
“No it dosent.”
“It does.” Luka bit. “Because if i can’t trust you - you can die, Alex. He will kill you.”
Subconscious hands itched at the grass, letting levels of dirt pile up in unkept fingertips; carresing carelessly.
There was no time to care.
Because Max was dead.
He was forced to watch him die twice: hopelessly.
Time didn’t just tick the clock, it ticked and itched at his skin - he needed to stop it all.
But what if the ticks refused to stop?
What if he really did lose Alex next?
“He…” Alex started. “He wont —“
“He would.”
Luka stood up, searching the bark of wood and the green leaves tied to trees. For someone. He must be there. Must be watching.
“Well then, do you think he’s here too?”
“Who?” Lukas stooled. Dreading the name about to leap from the others mouth.
“Arthur”
Arthur. The pair of them might’ve not been the only people who turned back time. and if that was the case, if its the truth. They were already dead.
