I may forgive But I never forget For I will not be made your pet Forgiveness is saying That yes we can move on If you can change, My need to never forget will be gone Yet in the case In which change never occurs That is why I remember That is when my action spurs And I will move on Thought it will hurt, I will leave you behind That is the best I can do for my mind So I shall forgive But never forget The reason for which I will have no regrets

I know this one didn’t flow so well at some parts and was a bit choppy, but I was really just trying to get some emotions out. I’m posting this in case anyone reading relates to this poem. :)
