POEM STARTER
Mysteries of the Night
Whether something natural and beautiful like the stars, or something more sinister, write a poem that focuses on things that are most prominent at night.
Mysteries of the Night
Most don’t see what I see
In the dark of night
They are all asleep
And miss what’s here in sight
The creatures all come out to play
Once the sun has set
But no one ever cares to see
What’s right behind their door
Creatures come and play with me
All in different shapes
Some are small and some are big
And some are just like me
We run and hide
And stay and seek
Until the night is gone
For then we hide among the stars
And sleep a day once more
