WRITING OBSTACLE

A fan of an artist is grappling with the concept that despite their life being incredibly impacted by this person’s work, the artist will never know of their existence.

Write about their thoughts and emotions.

A Faraway Light

I stared at my wall. The pictures of them. My idol. An actress who saved my life. Amongst the rubble of nepo babies, Botox and reused actors. Laid the light of the industry. Miriam. She was so sincere. Her voice could be heard across different worlds playing in houses everywhere. She saved me… life is shit. My parents are shit and entertainment, the only thing keeping me sane, is also shit. Because of how watered down, under saturated and copy and paste everything is. She saved me. She was there playing different roles. She could play men, women or teenagers with ease. Despite that… she’ll never know all she’s done for me. Because we’re on two different levels. She’s an idol. An icon. Hundreds of fans. And I’m just a girl… a girl with cuts and mental scarring. Who she saved. And she’ll never know because… I’m insignificant amongst seven billion people
