I went to a fireworks festival,

and bought myself cotton candy,

the pink one.

I was about to take a bite out of it,

when I noticed them—

the clouds…

they’re, pink.

I held my cotton candy up to them.

“It’s the same color.”

I pulled it back down,

and took a bite from it,

not the cotton candy…

the pink clouds.
