The 5th annual “Founding Fooders” charity day is being held in the park. This is Kylie’s first real interaction with baking for those not directly intent on buying baked goods, as the market features all types of food from all walks of life. From the classic New York hotdog too the delicious samosas of India, this place has it all. There are quite a few other baked goods stalls there, most focusing on pastries or fresh bread, but Kylie’s is the only true dessert station. Long plastic tables stand edge to edge across the length of the park, with benches and tables set up scattered throughout. A ginormous sequoia towers over from the center of the park, and a lake teems with aquatic life in its shade. The most perfect place in all of New York to bring people together.
