POEM STARTER
In a poem, write about a love triangle between three people.
Will you write from each person's perspective with unique voices, or omnisciently tell the whole story?
Lemon Meringue
1.
My heart has gone split,
Not in half but in bits,
A pie unevenly cut,
The meringue falling apart,
The crust crumbled,
The filling oozing,
Dripping,
Lip-puckeringly sour,
How I crave more.
2.
This whole thing is a mess,
But I don’t mind.
For me the taste is satisfying,
A flavour worth consuming.
The tang on my tongue
Makes me lick my lips,
Begging
3.
Sweet consumption,
Filling our three mouths.
Conniptions of flavour,
Making us shiver,
In raptures of ecstasy,
The sweetness bursting in our mouths.
