First School Experience
This is my first year in high school, _well first year at an actual school in general._ I’ve been homeschooled my entire life with my three siblings. Mom and Dad aren’t the wealthiest and they needed help with the farm during the day. But when we were younger they promised all _four _of us we could go to public high school. I didn’t mind staying home doing home schooling,I love reading so it gave me time to read. I’m such a book nerd, I could read for absolute hours and not get bored. It was the first time meeting everyone since I didn’t know anyone in this new school, expect for my best friend. Rosemary James, or as I called her, RJ, was my best friend ever since I met her when we were five in the town center. My dad was selling crops while I just played with the kids. She was reading by herself and I walked up to her, “Hello! I’m Irene Raine Anderson, or you could just call me my initials Ira, what’s your name?” When was a child I was pretty friendly, still am, so I became friends with her instantly. For my 14th birthday she wrote my a note,
_“Dear Ira, I’ve never met anyone like you before! You are an amazing friend and we connect instantly happy birthday!”_
I almost cried when she handed that note to me. I had tears in my eyes and she obviously noticed so she hugged me.
_“You should be grateful for that, RJ.”_
