Valor sat staring at an array of items that sat on her wooden floor. The pile ranged from a fork to her cat Bluff. “Ugh nothing Work!” She grouned throwing her dagger at the wall. Then it hit her, literally. Her walking stick she found a few years ago in the forest fell, hitting her in the head. “Ouch! What the-,” Valor said stareing at the wooden pole. “Huh,” she said picking up the stick and tossing it in her hands. The rough wood scratch her hands. A smirk grew on her face as a plan formed. “This is perfect! It light enough to carry yet heavy enough to bash some one. And in the arena there could be a dagger I could turn this into a spear. It’s Perfect!”

The next morning Valor walked into a room where all the other tributes wait. Valor walked into confidently with her big stick. Then she looked around and saw what everyone else had and her confidence shattered. Everyone was holding necklaces or small meaningful items. One little girl was holding a music box. And Valor had a 5’9 Wood pole. Valor’s face burned as everyone stared, but she wiped away her embarrassment and sat down next to the girl with the music box. “So why did you bring a stick?” The little girl asked. Valor instanly thought of good lie, well half truth. “I was on a walk we my lover when it hit me. Literally it fell out of a tree.” The little bursted it to a bubbly giggle. Valor smiled knowing she would save this little girl at alll costs.
