Gyan sir’s theories

I think I just met the happiest person in the world. There are some people who are happy because they don’t have many conflicts in life and then there are some, who wage a war against conflicts and problems and then choose to stay happy despite losing and winning. I think I met the second kind.

The other day when I am very much confused about finding solutions to my midlife crisis, my mom asked me to meet her childhood friend Gyan - who is a math teacher. Now I had to travel for 10+ hours to meet this person. For a moment I thought, “Is it worthy??” and then started searching his profile online and got to find his blog.

Now I think I had to meet him. That’s a crazy blog of insane fictional stories filled with anger, drama, gratitude, aggression, wit and many more. And then there is this collection called “Gyances” which includes his personal experiences and life lessons.

What striked me hard is - at every phase of life, he faced many unusal problems for someone his age. And he always found a way to come back to life with a new attitude like an updated version with new features.

Friends lost, dreams shattered, broken love, broken family - Nothing could stop him from living his life in his terms. And his terms always included happiness and fun.

I packed my bag and took a train that evening and reached his place by next morning. He isn’t just a math teacher and his place isn’t just a normal home.

It has greenery that greets strangers and brings a calmness

It has a meditation room with teens in silent mode sharpening their concentration.

It has a pond with stones and trees like a painting.

There are students taking classes to their fellow students making noise and laughing out their hearts. One of them took me to gyan sir.

Gyan sir is staring at a poster in a newspaper when I saw him for the first time.

He looked so calm, all this house and surroundings would definitely be his architecture. When he is talking to me, there is a sense of relaxation with absolutely no rush to do anything.

We spoke about stuff that’s exciting and this conversation will stay with me forever. It’s all about staying at peace, taking time when we have problems and not taking things too seriously.

I think I met the happiest person in this world, may be I will meet one more such person soon. He is going to solve his midlife crisis by taking things one at a time, staying in present, staying in the process and not worrying too much there by staying in peace that brings happiness
