The Space Between
The space between stars is just that. Space.
Empty.
Dark.
Cold.
No one wants the space between the stars. When you are out at night, no one says ‘Look at that space!”. No. It’s always “Look at those stars”.
But it is really empty? Is it really dark? Cold?
No.
The space between the stars is full of wonder and possiblity. It is what we should be most intersted in. Who knows what is in the dark? No one will ever know if you don’t take an interest in it. The space between the stars holds meteors, comets, dust, satellites, moons, and planets. Even ours.
To overlook the space between the stars, is to overlook life itself.
It’s not dark. Our sun is a star, and is the giver of live. Earth is in the space between stars. But the star closest to us provides life giving light.
Cold? Not a chance! The space between stars that earth inhabits is provided warmth by the sun defeating any argument that it is cold.
As I look out my window and see cars, apartments, office buildings, trees, birds, the space I inhabit between stars is hardly desoloate.
It is full of love, light, beauty.
