Belonging.

That nine letter word never meant much to me.

Belonging is boring and tiring I thought.

But to belong means to have a love no one can take.

To belong means to never worry about being fake.

I belong to you and you to me.

We belong to the world and the world to us.

I never thought I’d belong anywhere.

But I belong to the sea, the grass, the trees.

I belong to the earth, and the earth belongs to me.
