Shine And Light
Moonshine,
Held up in my case,
Nice and fine,
And all faced,
Its neck is straggled,
Ready to pop,
To travel,
To see my crops,
Over the moonlight,
Where the sky is black,
And the night,
Causes the sky to crack,
As I lay down,
Only a lonely blanket,
To drown,
For my isolated banquet,
A swing of moonshine,
Running down like a river,
From a throat of mine,
Accompanied with a shiver,
A shine of moonlight,
Across the plain,
Across the night,
The stars and the grains,
As the moonshine goes,
My vision drifts,
My body decompose,
My mind shifts,
I let the night claim me,
The apathy of the night,
Allowing me to be,
Nothing more than a blight,
As I lose myself,
To the taste of moonshine,
I wonder about my wealth,
What is truly mine,
As I drown in a sea of thoughts,
The night flows,
The stars their own little yachts,
As the wind blows,
Could I just stay here forever,
Within the night sky,
If my life was more clever,
Not the bad guy,
Why is this nature my prison,
My true home,
My cell should be the moon risen,
Staying here like the gnomes,
Instead of the work,
Instead of the complains,
Away from the jerks,
Away from everyone’s lane,
Moonshine,
My escape,
My mental coastline,
My break,
Moonlight,
In its purest form,
My only light,
Within its warm,
It’s my peace,
My silence,
Away from the grease,
Shine and light
