POEM STARTER
The Revelation
Write a poem with a structured rhyme scheme, using this as the title.
The Revelation
Break through the glass
Through a mental sphere
Clinging to memories
Which used to bring cheer
But memories can’t be made
When trust is gone
And feelings become stagnant
When time becomes long
Blonde, brown eyes
Curves and turns in right places
Younger, bold,
With admirable faces
It all started with a laugh
A sigh, and a smile
It ended with a kiss
Spending time for a while
You didn’t see my heart
As it broke when you kissed
Along with my mind
Which sanity missed
As the body grows cold
And she reaches his sleep
Air becomes still
My secret to keep
