A few months passed in what felt like weeks, and the boys were no where closer to figuring out why the scars appeared. Tyler had gotten to know the girl, her name is Daniella, but if anyone called her that she get 𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘳𝘺. Instead the boys called her Dani.

Now they where at her house. Tyler ended up finding an apartment, but not only was in the cheapest he could find, it was tiny. It only had a bed and bath, so he had to go to the cafe if he wanted to eat. Instead, they always went to Dani's place. Her parents where great, and the food they made was even more so. Her mom worked from home, and her dad was barely there. He had to travel for his job, but he tries to come back at least every other weekend.

Tyler couldn't help but feel a little hurt in his gut when they talked. You could tell they've known each other for a while before Tyler came into the picture.

That day, Ryan had to go back to the cafe for an extra shift. Tyler and Dani where left alone. For some reason, Dani was staring at the boy.

"You like him." she said matter-of-factly

"What?! No!"

She stared at him, finally breaking the boy,

"Is that... Okay?"

"Oh, I don't care if you like guys. That's not my problem-"

"No-no. Like, aren't you guys..." he made a few senseless gestures.

"Oh! Heck no!" she laughed, it sounding a bit menacingly, "why would you think that?"

He explained what he heard and saw the first day they met,

"Heh. The kiss on cheek is more of s friendly thing. And honestly, I'm surprised he hasn't called you babe. He calls everyone that. He, like, zesty as heck."

"What?"

"He likes men."

Tyler was silent. He didn't know why. It's not like that should change anything.

"That sounds like a good place to stop. I have to go help my mom cook dinner, anyway. See 'ya!"

"Wait-" but she had already started walking to the kitchen. Tyler grabbed his crutch and started walking to his own crappy apartment.
