When I’m lonely

Out of sorts

I look in your closet at all your clothes you left behind. I don’t have the heart to donate them yet.

It wasn’t your fault that your not here with me.

Angels took you away.

Sometimes, when I am lonely, I hug your shirts, that you so neatly hung.

Why do I hug your shirts, I ask myself?

Because, I convince myself that it comforts me.

Your scent still remains! I hug your shirts and smell your scent,pretending you’re hugging me back.. It felt like only yesterday, I remember washing them.

When I’m really sad, I spray your cologne on myself!

I’ll lay on the bed with eyes closed and pretend your right next to me. Your memories are engraved in my heart ❤️
