'Beneath the willow, you will findā¦' Finish this sentence, and use it somewhere in a poem.
Pend; To Hang
Beneath the willow you will find
Their bodies hanging.
The bodies of those who knew no gentle hand
Or kind words
Only fists and punishment.
The bodies of those who were loved
And adored
But felt as though they were alone.
Why did they feel that way?
Why didnāt they see the love
Right in front of them?
Oh how the willow groans
From the weight of their corpses.
Their are too many for us to ignore,
Yet ignore them we do.
Who will tell their story?
The story of the masses who feel broken?
Who feel their only way out is death.
Why donāt we show them that we do not cowar at the thought of their silent struggle?
Why donāt we hold their hands and listen?
Listen, listen, listen.
Not talk.
Listen.
