The funniest laugh I ever had, came from me. I was home the other day, bored and channel searching.As I was streaming, I came across mid century cartoons. These were from the 50’s and 60’s, maybe even older!

I laughed my butt off, when I watched

POPEYE THE SAILOR MAN.

He was ahead of his time. He had the right attitude. Didn’t give a hoot what people thought.

He held his can of spinach up proudly!

Popping open that can and gulping it down, so quickly!

Probably, gave him some kind of high.

Because, whatever was in that can of spinach , gave him the strength to fight the bullies.

Let’s go back now. This was 50 or 60 year ago. Black and white TV’S.

Having to get up from your chair to change a channel!

This brings me to POPEYE again.

I am what I am! And that’s all that I am!

Fifty years later and we still ask ourselves
