Even The Smallest Of Lies
Have you ever been lied to? I have on multiple occasions and let me tell you this, it doesn’t cause physical wounds, but your soul is faced with abrasions.
It leaves scars that cannot be fixed, it leads to tar that truly sticks and all because someone you thought you could trust, decides to lust and take the mick.
I don’t take kindly to lies, they cut me up and sting my eyes, they steal away the light of day and send clouds to cover the skies, rain pulls at your eyes, but nothing hurts as much as little words turned lies.
It starts of small like a drizzle of rain and then before you know it, it’s a hurricane. I feel betrayed every time, and that’s why I can’t stand even the smallest of lies.
