I don't regret a thing I've done. I'd do it all over again if I could.

Donner and Blitz, they have their lives to live together, they have families back home. Even though having outside relationships is forbidden, I see the way they clutch photographs and lockets in secret. When they think no one is watching.

It's me, on the other hand, pushing them out of the spotlight, only to be found and imprisoned here in this jail. I've been beaten, tortured, but with no one on their way to come rescue me.

I wouldn't be surprised if I was found dead by the state. Wouldn't that be funny?

No one to miss me, no one to come home to. This letter probably won't be even sent to anyone in particular. Probably used as an example for other rookies thinking they could do what we did.

Here's a lesson: Don't show weakness. Don't stop to help others. There will always be someone who will take advantage of you, someone who will capture you.

It was just by my luck that I was able to get the others home. That's all I can do, but you may not be so lucky.

Stay careful and stay vigilant. And stay quiet. No matter what happens to me, I don't say a thing to the enemy.
