WRITING OBSTACLE
Create a character who fits a stereotype in every aspect except one. Reveal this aspect of them towards the end of the story.
Perfect church girl
She was the ideal church girl.
She ticked every box that one might expect her to tick.
She went to church every Sunday.
She prayed before every meal.
She never disobeyed or sined;
and when she did it was something small or insignificant
like forgetting to say amen before she fell asleep.
Her robes never fell shorter than her knees.
She never acted extravagantly or impulsively.
She'd always forgive, always be kind and always obey;
never a sinful thought in her mind.
"She'll be the perfect wife one day." said all those who knew her.
"It will soon be time that she marries a man of god" replied her parents proudly.
Yet every time a boy would tempt to charm her,
her eyes were never on him.
But on the girl that sat behind.
What she didn't know yet,
is that so was her heart.
(I hope y'all get the plot twist haha)
