WRITING OBSTACLE

Eager. Astonishing. Engulf.

In a story of no more than 10 lines, use these three words in any order. Try not to randomly throw them in, but think about a storyline that allows you to link them all naturally.

Feral

“Such an eager thing, aren’t you?” Linton’s voice echoed off the marble walls, ringing false sweetness. He rolled up the cuffs of his sleeves, the corners of his mouth turning up into a cruel grin as he walked forward. “Some beast you are..” Linton cupped Keam’s cheeks, relishing in the way his tail wagged behind him. Linton’s thumb smeared the blood dirtying Keam’s face further, hardly even sparing a glance to the unconscious body of one of the housekeepers behind him.

Keam’s tail flickered behind himself eagerly, whimpers falling from his lips as his tongue lolled out to lick at his masters palm. The hall felt tense in the best way possible. “You’re doing so well, baby.” Linton purred, Keam’s eyes dazzled with something akin to pride, tears daring to overflow from the excitement of his master praising his work.

“Astonishing you didn’t completely engulf in it this time around,” Linton chuckled. “So messy too, someone’s gonna have to have a bath.”

“M-master—“ Keam tried to speak, blood and spit connecting his upper teeth to his lower teeth as his mouth opened in an obscene way.

“Don’t waste your breath reasoning, my little muse. I’ll take care of it.” Linton said softly, voice eerily calm despite the situation. He placed an arm under Keam’s thighs, hauling him up with practiced eased.

“It’s alright…”
