Before you
I thought I knew what love was.
Over the top, passionate, never ending.
But since meeting you
on that autumn day 4 years ago
you have forced me to question everything
I once knew about love.
You loved me like a queen.
Sat me on a throne
would move heaven and earth
if I simply asked you to
but you, my love
also brought hell to me
and for that
I’d never love the same way I loved you ever again.
