I flipped through the pages enthuastically, that unknown animals weren’t like humans, but they were so interesting, so different. I loved reading each and everyone of the descriptions of each animal, but one particularly catches my eye. The picture showed sobering similar to a tiny dog, but the ears were shorter and pointier, the snout was a shorter as well, and the tail was long and skinny. I read the animal’s names.

“C-ah-tuh”, I giggled so read the silly name, “cat” was so fun to say.

I flipped the page and began reading the description. “The Cat is an ancient being of flexibility. There has senses called ‘whiskers’ that help them detect how small or wide something is. They also have super hearing ands are nocturnal. Able to leap more the 3 feet in the air, the Cat is just one of a large family of others similar to it. Ex. The Tigers, The Lions, The Leopards, and much more. This animal is a predator in the night and truly a spectacular being.”

I took a minute to sink everything, I wish there was more information on animals. I flipped back to the picture and stroked it softly. I wish I could meet a Cat or any other animal really. I heard the bell ring once, time to go. I closed the book and set its neatly on the table in front of me.

“ ‘Till we meet again, cat.” I said as I walked off.
