WRITING OBSTACLE
Write a scene where your character has to speak at length with a complete stranger.
How do people act when they are speaking to those they don't know? Remember you don't have to write the whole dialogue out.
Strange Or Stranger
Pack of cigarettes fall to the ground, two hands reach down towards it, Mitchell glances up to see a stranger with short black hair reaching down towards them, their androgynous features capturing his gaze.
“Here” a unfamiliar voice mutters as a strange hand offers the cigarettes towards him, he remains unmoved his consciousness frozen captured by the stranger.
“These yours?” The unfamiliar voice says confusion winding through each word.
“Oh I’m sorry” Mitchell mutters his embarrassment apparent, the strange chuckles
“One of those days huh?” Amusement making each syllable far more captivating
