When The World Is Beneath You
When the world is beneath you,
Everything seems . . .
small.
Small, like an ant in the sidewalk,
Small, like a newborns tiny fingers,
Small.
And when the world is beneath you,
Everything else seems . . .
Large.
Large, like the sky above the mountains,
Large, like the great big oak tree in your old backyard.
Large.
That is what happens when
The world is beneath you.
