Write a story that starts underwater and ends in a kitchen.
It can be in any genre you like as long as the story takes place in these two distinct settings.
Sinking
I delve under that water. Ears full, mouth full, my whole body filled to the top with water. I sink. I swim. I drown. I close my eyes. I open my eyes. I’m staring down at my kitchen sink, it’s soapy contents swirling around my hands. I’ve let go of the plate I was washing, it has sunk.
