Beneath the ground in Princess Astoria’s stronghold laid a secret ancient cave made by the gods themselves. In the cave lay a piece to the mysterious artifact, the element of gemstone.
Princess Astoria was sitting in her custom made throne, which she turned into amethyst. Many guards surrounded her. In her underground lair there were pretty much just a bunch of hunks of gems and sparkly things that Astoria treasured.
A scouting guard strutted around her, eyeing the surrounding dragons. About 5 or 6 dragons with tons of rubble stuck to their scales stepped towards the princess and bowed.
“What information have you imbeciles brought me this time?” Astoria growled, “Find anything important?”
“Yes, your majesty. We found an ancient ruin of the gods.”
“And HOW shall that help me win this war?” The menacing princess snarled as she flared her giant wings.
“Y-your majesty, you may want to hear this one..” The smallest cavedragon suggested.
Astoria raised her eyebrow and showed her teeth at the tiny dragon's dishonorable interruption. “Ugh,” she rolled her eyes, “Carry on.”
“The cave holds one of the pieces to the Artifact of Geros.” The dragon managed to say.
Astoria laughed, “Hah! Geros means nothing to me. Unless the gods put some type of _super weapon_ in there, I _don’t _care.”
Racing from one of the tunnels, a cerberus broke his way into the conversation, “Your majesty! Consider it.”
“Emperor Zygaroth, my most trusted ally.” She spread her wings to stand, “Because of you I’ll go see whatever it is.”
The three headed wolf, Emperor Zygaroth, led Princess Astoria out from the cave. The guards stood in front of the amethyst throne to protect it.
Zygaroth and Astoria made their way through the tunnels, eventually making it to the mining quarters. A sign which had a symbol on it passed them.
Once they made it into the ancient cave they saw giant ancient writings on the walls.
“No one seems to be able to read them.” Zygaroth’s deep voice echoed in the giant cave.
“Are you stupid? Anyone can read these. I've been able to read them since I was born!” Astoria chuckled.
“You're a gemstone dragon. Of course you can read ancient writing because you are _made_ by ancients.” Zygaroth rolled his eyes.
At the end of the ruins was a pillar with a shining golden piece floating at the top. The piece looked like the shape of a diamond.
“It’s diamond shaped? I thought it was some sort of puzzle piece.” Astoria hissed.
“When Genesis Nova created the Artifact of Geros she made a piece for each titan dragon. One for each element. This one is the most important, it is the Gemstone Piece.” Emperor Zygaroth barked.
“What even is Geros, I don’t understand all this fancy talk.” The princess growled.
“The realm where the gods live, like Genesis Nova and her daughters Ambience Centura and Tempest Selene.”
“Ohhhh, you said it's a gemstone element right? I can control it then.”
Zygaroth sat down, “Anyone who uses magic on the pieces will be granted horrible things to happen to them. Using magic especially on this piece will help us _lose_ the war.”
“Hm.. don’t touch it then. Keep this cave off limits and put a bunch of guards around it.” Astoria said and glided out of the cave.
