WRITING OBSTACLE

Demonstrate. Incapacitate. Solidify.

In a story of no more than 10 sentences, use these three words in any order. The point is to create a story line that allows you to link them all naturally, without forcing them into random places.

From Setback To Strength

Have you ever received homework or an assignment and had no clue where to start? That’s exactly where I am with this daily prompt assignment, but I know the only way forward is to begin. When we choose to start even in uncertainty, we demonstrate strength and courage. At times, setbacks can feel like they incapacitate us, leaving us unsure of our next step. I experienced this when I failed one section of the CPA exam and felt disappointment wash over me. Instead of staying stuck in that moment, I decided to fight back with more study hours, more practice tests, and renewed focus. When I returned for the exam, I passed and proved to myself that resilience pays off. That experience helped solidify my belief that failure is never final. With drive, discipline, and determination, every obstacle can be turned into opportunity. Today I know with conviction that I can do all things once I decide not to quit.
