The Hanged Man
Wait for me
Across the sea, you wait for me
Through the endless night, I see only you
In the stars,
In the moon,
And everything between.
You glow so bright in your radiance
I peace I have never known,
A quiet I am no longer scared to embrace.
Do you even know the sanctuary you left behind in your trace?
One that I so desperate cling onto in your absence.
Do you see me in what I left behind?
Do you smell that same scent in your living room where I once stood?
I see your eyes in the face of strangers,
My mind likes to remind me what I long for most.
But how could I ever forget?
How can we be joint at the hip while the ocean seperates us?
I know not when this red ribbon was tied,
But I know distance only strengthens its knot.
So until that time comes again,
When k can feel your warmth pressing against my skin,
When I no longer have to rely on memories to fill the void
Wait for me.
Wait for me..
Wait for me…
