I’m afraid of my reflection

Have you ever wondered if your a ‘good person’ ? Are your polished polite smiles to strangers genuine ? Is your advice In the best Interest of other people?

Or have you made yourself believe you do it for everyone else ?

I’m afraid if I look into my reflection for long enough I’ll walk further into admiring my fluorescent Persian blue eyes and into a shadowed city of my own shame ,jealousy and destruction .

Maybe we should all be afraid of what hides behind the painting in the mirror.

Nobody is perfect
