The dark, wooden floorboards were creaking under each of my steps as i made my way down the loud staircase. Through a window from the second floor, i caught a glimpse of the far off landscape laid before my eyes. As the wind sizzled through the obstacles, a thick layer of trees attempted to hide a chain of what i could’ve sworn were mountains reaching for the stars above. I continued my journey to the next floor and this time, I rather noticed how the moon gleamed across the silky waters. The vast mirror beneath me reflected a gorgeous gradient of light pink to greyish blue accompanied by white ornaments. I related to the lanterns that appeared in my sight, being guided by the current with no apparent goal. My feet led me to the exit of the Pagoda, towards an other barrier, an eternal reminder of my curse. I admired the lights float away to their rhythm, wishing it was me.
