I found her in the attic

I was 5 and so was she

We grew up together and I loved her

She has a cute appearance but there’s something strange

It began to frighten me a bit

So I put her back in the attic

I closed the door and I felt something

Her eyes were beady but it felt like she was looking

Looking at _me_

“Of course she is! She’s a doll! What do I expect?” I say

But why does it feel like her presence is haunting

I tried to forget and went to bed

The next morning, I woke up and she was there
