STORY STARTER

She laughed at the mess she made. Nothing was going according to plan but it was absolutely perfect.
Apres la Vie
She lived for chaos and would often bathe in itβs aftermath.
What was happening right now was utterly perfect, like a concoction of random events.
And all she had to do was turn up:
First there were the kids, wide-eyed as she entered and pointed at her black dress.
Then the kids ran back to their parents, who scolded them for staring, arguments ensued about parenting, because thatβs a great topic to be discussed at a wake.
After that, several people she recognised made their way to the back rooms of the property, where the majority of the mourners had gathered.
She hung up a short jacket and walked through the living room, oddly enough people started to scatter and turn as pale as a sheet.
Grabbing a drink from the free bar, she took the hair tie out of her long black curly hair, shaking it gently, she let out a breath, her eyelids fluttering softly and her shoulders relaxed.
Walking, Downing her alcoholic drink, she bit her lip, adjusted her dress and arrived at the back of the house where the majority of mourners had gathered.
Everyone, including her husband, turned their heads as she entered, gasping and her husband Ben fell back in his chair and hit the ground hard.
βWho died?β she blurted.
