STORY STARTER

All this time I thought he was the villain, but as I watched the blood drip from my fingertips, I realised it was all a matter of perspective...
Blood Moon
"It was an accident!" she screamed to whoever could hear.
No one could. That was the point. It was all a trick.
"Well, well, well, look who finally showed her true colors," he snickered behind her.
She spun around with a gasp, but he wasn't really there. Just a bright pool of moonlight.
"You were supposed to be the bad guy!" she cried. "Not _me_!"
At first, there was no response, but then she heard him sigh.
"I was," he agreed. "But unfortunately for you, we both were. Your father, he--"
"He left when I was little, I get it. You don't have to rub it in," she furiously wiped her face clear of tears and snot.
"No, no, listen, he was lying too. He had the curse. He passed it down onto you and that's why he left. He couldn't bear to see his daughter become what he had," He explained.
She lifted her hands to stare fearfully at the blood on them. They visibly trembled, one more than the other. Without thinking, she put them over her eyes and sank to her knees.
"I don't know how to feel anymore," she sobbed.
He appeared in front of her, mis-shapen hand hovering over her back. "None of us do. I'm sorry you had to find out this way."
She hissed. "If you were really sorry, you would've stopped me."
"Once the curse has set in, no one can stop the rampages. Not even other villains," he reminded softly.
"Then kill me," she looked up directly into his blood red eyes.
He shook his head. "I can't do that."
"Do it!" she shouted, voice cracking.
"No," he refused again.
She grabbed onto his cloak and tugged. "Please, I'm begging you. If you won't, I will."
