**Lily**
“Will you be my girlfriend?” Max whispered into Lily’s ear as she sat at the island.
He leaned against her back, waiting as she finished the last of her leftover dinner. The words brought a smile to her lips, and when she turned around, Zaz and Cole were still bickering about some sports nonsense. Their argument cut off instantly when Lily pressed her lips to Max’s.
Passion surged through her as Max pulled her from the chair, holding her tight, kissing her with an urgency that silenced the room.
“Seriously, you two? Yuck.” Zaz made a gagging sound.
“Can we keep the PDA to a minimum?” Nessa scoffed, coming upstairs from the basement, now in fresh nightwear.
Her hair was still twisted up in a towel, but her loose cami and tight shorts caught Zaz and Cole’s attention immediately.
“Damn, you clean up nice,” Zaz blurted.
“Down, boy. Go find some other bone to fawn over,” Nessa shot back, dropping onto the couch and snatching the remote.
“I thought the basement was the girls’ domain?” Cole asked, glancing toward Max for confirmation.
But Max wasn’t paying attention. He was seated at the island, Lily wrapped in his arms, scrolling through his phone, lost in her.
“I’m guessing that’s about to change,” Nessa giggled.
Zaz groaned, collapsing onto the smaller couch, while Cole sank into the rocking chair.
“So where does that leave the rest of us?” Cole muttered.
“We just have to wait until the cute-and-cuddly stage dries up. Hopefully soon,” Nessa sighed, flicking through channels.
“I’m honestly just glad to see him enjoying something that isn’t bad for his health,” a female voice called from the door. Both boys shuddered.
Nessa twisted on the couch and saw a bright-haired girl dragging a small suitcase through the doorway.
The newcomer was a bombshell: long, flowing, semi-curly purple hair that reached past her waist, shaved on the right side to reveal natural black. When her golden-yellow eyes landed on Nessa, they glowed unnervingly. A black cami clung above a sheer purple bra, fully visible, paired with tiny track shorts that left almost nothing to the imagination. As she dropped her bag by the door and bounced toward the island—where Max was completely entangled with Lily—Nessa caught a glimpse of tanned, round cheeks peeking out from those shorts.
“Jesus,” Cole muttered.
“When did Izzy get hot?” Zaz added, making the girl giggle as she waved at them.
“Izzy?” Max finally looked up from Lily, blinking. His sister was now leaning over the island with a bored expression, typing away on her phone.
“Ohhh, she’s cute,” Izzy said with a playful smirk. She blew Lily a kiss. “I’d love for you to be my sister-in-law. We’d slay at the mall.”
Lily blushed a soft shade of pink.
“Thanks… What are you doing here?” Max demanded.
“Our parents are going on a cruise,” Izzy replied, twirling her hair. “They blabbed about your road trip, so I begged to come. Mom was supposed to text you. But since I had to Uber from the airport, I’m guessing she was too caught up with the new stepdad.”
“Sounds like her,” Max muttered, standing to give her a hug.
Izzy squirmed, gagging. “Yuck! No affection!”
Cole, however, couldn’t take his eyes off her. Max had lifted her up like a rag doll, putting her on full display.
“Not nice to perv on your friend’s sister,” Nessa snapped, stepping in front of Cole.
Max set Izzy down, looking a little guilty. Lily gripped his arm to reassure him, but Nessa quickly clarified:
“No—I wasn’t throwing shade, I promise.”
“Let’s just get to bed,” Zaz cut in, dragging Cole toward the stairs. “Tomorrow’s the first day on the road.”
**Nessa**
The next morning, Nessa awoke to heavy footsteps upstairs. Still half-asleep, she yawned and glanced toward the couch. A lump lay curled under blankets.
“Get up, sleepyhead,” she groaned, tossing her pillow at the figure.
The pillow landed with a thud, knocking the covers down just enough to reveal a plump, tanned backside hugged by a purple lace thong. Definitely not Lily. Izzy had crashed downstairs.
“Five more minutes,” Izzy mumbled, pulling the blanket back over herself.
Nessa froze for a second, staring, before shaking herself and rushing upstairs.
“Anyone seen Izzy?” Max bellowed.
“She’s in the basement,” Nessa replied, grabbing for coffee.
“See? Didn’t have to drag us outta bed,” Zaz groaned, nearly tripping on the last step.
“Yeah. Just ’cause I said she’s a bombshell doesn’t mean I was trying to fuck,” Cole muttered, earning a snort from Nessa.
She poured coffee. Cole glared. “Hey! I made that.”
“Thanks, Cole.” She stuck out her tongue, sipping. “Not bad.”
Izzy chose that moment to emerge, wrapped in a throw blanket, clearly wearing only lingerie underneath.
“Can you put some clothes on?” Max snapped, shoving a larger blanket at her.
“We’re about to spend a month trapped together. They’ll see worse,” Izzy teased, tossing the blanket aside and shaking her hips.
Zaz and Cole froze. Nessa nearly spit her coffee.
“Go get dressed, all of you,” Max groaned.
“She’s got a spectacular ass, though,” Cole muttered, trailing after him.
After the boys left, Lily and Izzy joined Nessa at the island. The silence lingered until Nessa finally asked:
“So, you just gonna keep teasing the boys?”
“Why do you think it’s for them?” Izzy smirked.
“Let’s get this straight. Acting like a floozy will only get you fucked. Tone it down,” Nessa snapped, irritation slipping through.
“If you’re not my parent, boss, or the one fucking me, you don’t get a say,” Izzy grinned, dropping the blanket entirely.
Nessa groaned, looking away as Lily stifled laughter. Izzy winked and strutted upstairs, bare.
“That girl’s gonna get her ass beat,” Nessa muttered.
“She’s young. Let her be,” Nicky called from the living room.
Moments later, the door opened again—revealing Esme, glowing in a flamingo-pink dress that clung to her like she’d just stepped out of an anime convention.
Nessa’s jaw dropped.
Esme stood framed in the doorway, her pink dress almost glowing in the morning light. Jet-black hair spilled just beyond her shoulders, and her makeup made her smile pop. Her strapless dress left her shoulders bare, and her nails and toes were polished to match. She wasn’t overly curvy, but she carried herself like she knew she was gorgeous.
Nessa glanced at Nicky, raising an eyebrow. Nicky answered with a groan and a look that said, I’ll explain later.
By the time the boys pulled back up with the camper, Zaz was the first to notice the princess-like newcomer. Nicky beamed, clearly pleased, while Max wasted no time pulling Lily onto his lap the moment they walked inside.
Nessa eyed Izzy across the room. She had showered and changed into a short skirt and a sheer mesh top, her tongue sticking out at Nessa just to get a rise. Lily had laughed herself breathless over it earlier.
“So,” Max clapped his hands, “are we all ready to start this?”
“Let’s go!” Cole yipped, tugging Zaz toward the camper with the luggage.
“Before we do, rules.” Max’s voice dropped into his bossy tone. “The boys are out with me in the bunks. Girls with Nessa in the main bedroom.”
He flashed Nessa a grin. Lily pulled him down and whispered something in his ear that made him laugh.
Nicky, however, tugged on Nessa’s sleeve, her expression tight. “Can we talk? Outside.”
They slipped out the back door.
“What’s wrong?” Nessa asked.
“I need you to know something… but I don’t know if it’s my place.” Nicky wrung her hands.
“Bestie. Just say it.”
“Esme isn’t… completely a girl. Yet.” Nicky dropped into a chair, burying her face in her palms.
Nessa stifled a laugh with her hand. “Oh. Shit.”
“I just don’t want her stuck with the boys. It’d make her feel out of place. I hate throwing this on you.”
“She still has her… pickle?” Nessa asked carefully.
Nicky groaned. “Yes. But she had top surgery last summer. Laser hair removal. Even some facial work. She’s happier now. That’s what matters.”
“I’ll make sure the guys aren’t assholes,” Nessa promised. A mischievous grin tugged her lips. “Although… Zaz seemed interested.”
“That’s mean.”
“No, it’s mean of you to assume he wouldn’t be interested,” Nessa shot back, standing. “C’mon. Let’s roll.”
Out front, the group was already loading into the camper. Izzy waved before vanishing inside.
Max smirked. “Seems Izzy’s taken a liking to you.”
“Your sister’s more aggravating than you,” Nessa hissed, making Lily laugh.
“Maybe. But now she’s your problem too.”
“If only I’d ignored that boy asking me to a dance. Who knew he’d end up with my sister?” Nessa flipped him off playfully.
“On that note, I hope Izzy drives you nuts.”
“I’d be fine with her driving me nuts,” Cole chimed in.
“Nobody wants to drive your nuts,” Zaz shot back, shoving past him onto the bus.
Nicky leaned close, sly grin on her face. “Who says Izzy driving you crazy is a bad thing?”
“Not. The. Point.” Nessa groaned, stomping after her.
The camper was massive—black, sleek, closer to a tour bus than an RV. Inside, three captain’s chairs sat behind the driver’s seat. A small kitchen and a table big enough for six took up the center. Down the hall, four bunk beds lined the walls, leading to the master bedroom. Two bathrooms, each with a shower, promised at least a little sanity on the road.
Nessa stepped into the bedroom—only to freeze.
Izzy was sprawled across the bed, half-naked. One hand tugged hard at her nipple, the other buried furiously between her thighs. Her skirt was shoved up, no underwear in sight.
“Nessa, please… eat me more…” she moaned, eyes shut, lost in her own world.
Nessa’s heart slammed against her ribs. Should she cough? Retreat? Pretend she hadn’t just walked in on Max’s sister moaning her name while fingering herself?
God, as hot as it was… this was trouble.
