When I look in the mirror, I don’t see myself staring back at me. Everyone else tells me “a mirror reflects”, but mine seems not to.

When I look in the mirror, I don’t see my own long brown hair reflected in its smooth surface, I don’t see my bright green eyes returning my gaze. My freckles aren’t there, not even my dimple.

My friends tell me when _they _look in the mirror, they see their own blonde hair in curls, bikinis, their face staring back at them. But I have never seen my own reflection.

Never once have I been able to check the mirror quickly at school to see if I have something on my face, never once have I had the chance to do my _own_ hair in fancy curls like the other girls have them, because I can’t even see my own face.

When I look in the mirror, all I see is a dark and vicious demon, glaring back at me.

And it scares me.

_Is that how I really look? _I think when I glance by a window. I know it’s not true, only mind games, but I can’t help be scared, right? Maybe everyone else sees it too? Maybe it’s not just me?

I don’t know, but that demon in the mirror, its never left leave my side.
