“Elm…Elm” said willow. No response “Elm!” Said willow again concerned she starts to panic running around and shouting for Elm.

A quiet faint, voice comes from behind the bushes “over hear” Elm says. “There you are I have been looking all over for. you to scared me half to death” said willow relieved. “Look” Elm says. willow looks up she gasps takes a few steps forward an old chipped arch. Made out of quartz with vines rapped around it “what about it it’s just an arch” said willow “is it though” said elm. He reaches hand through the arch it does not come out the other end. He takes his hand out there are feathers all over it. “Woah! What is it?” Said willow. “I don’t really know” Elm says.

Willow steps closer and puts her hand through the arch. Her reflection bounces back through the arch she takes her hand out. And there are feathers on it “Why are there feathers on my hand?” Said Willow.

“I don’t know?” Said Elm. Willow peaks her head through the arch she pauses she steps through the arch she doesn’t come out the other and she disappears. “Willow!” Elm shouts. She doesn’t come back out so he goes in. He sees Willow standing there looking at the lake with orange trees all around it. They see smoke rising from the trees they follow it up with there eyes into the sky. until it disappears into the clouds “Look smok-“ said Elm as he gets interrupted from a noise. They here in the bushes they jump into a the nearest bush and hide. They peek over the bushes and see a man with brown thick feathery wings. Peaking from his back a bright yellow beak he is picking berries from a bush. “I see you” the man says. Elm and Willow sick behind the bushes “ no need to hide I won’t hurt you” says the man. as he casually pick berries like not one is there Elm and Willow get out from the bush scared “Who are you?” they both say “Oh I’m roudy an avian human” said Rowdy. “A what” said willow

“A avain human half bird half human” said Rowdy. “Do you live here? Said Elm.

“Yeah me and my flawk” said Rowdy. “Want to meet them” said Rowdy. “Uhhh” said willow and Elm “Come on it will be fun”said Rowdy. Right when Rowdy turned his back to point to the smoke where the flawk was. They hoped Roth back through the arch portal. Not daring to look back when they got back to the other side they ran when they finally stoped running they turned and stared at each other in confusion “what was that?!” Said Elm “I don’t know”said willow. “let’s never go back there” said the both of them they realized it was dark out. And were late for dinner so the said goodbye and ran home as fast as the could. But from the Conner of willows eye she say a bird like shadow staring her down. When she realized the figure walk back into the shadows and she ran home.
