POEM STARTER
Submitted by Robin Marlowe
Write a poem about unseasonable weather. e.g. A warm day in the winter, or snow in the summer.
Southern Winter
There are four seasons:
Winter for snow
Spring to grow
Summer to melt
Fall to loosen your belt
But for some reason
There is a place where
Seasons come and go
But leave barely a change from here to there
And it will never snow
In the south,
Summer burns
Fall warms
Winter might take a small turn
And Spring warns of Summer’s presence
The winter changes with rising of the sun
One day a jacket and scarf,
The next a tank top and shorts
The few days of cool
Quickly turn to hours in the pool
