WRITING OBSTACLE
Demonstrate. Incapacitate. Solidify.
In a story of no more than 10 sentences, use these three words in any order. The point is to create a story line that allows you to link them all naturally, without forcing them into random places.
Trying To Find The Balance
“I’m a mother; it's my role to demonstrate how it should be done. I want to lead by example and solidify the values of a good person and how one succeeds in life. I work long hours to provide for my kids, but my time with them is short and rushed. I want to approach things holistically, but it's so hard sometimes. Being a working mum incapacitates me from doing either job at full capacity. All I can do is try my best, right?”
“You're so right,” Sarah says as she looks at the time on her phone again. “It's such a struggle to find the right balance. Anyway, can I grab a large almond cap? I dropped the kids off late at school, so I’m kind of in a rush today. Sorry!”
