When I look in the mirror , I see nothing but an empty shell , a former look at my body … something that I would never want to see again. Do I run ? Do I hide ? What should I do with this , it’s all too much , I really can’t take this anymore

Someone save me from this person in the mirror

But then one day as I looked in the mirror once more to see the empty shell that I am , I didn’t see it this time

I saw something different , it was …. Normal , it was me , someone that I recognized, someone that was truely pure at heart. It wasn’t scary at all

I felt free , I felt more alive then I have ever felt

What did I learn from this ?

Next time you look in the mirror , don’t look at yourself the way you saw yourself in the past , see yourself as the person you can become in the future, in the present, in the now.
