Wilted Flower

( P.S, this is the male MC in my own story I’m writing. )

The Vampire perched on the building, looking for his love._ Avery. . Avery. _Alarmed in his mind. Every girl looked like Avery, and it made him so happy until the blindess was healed. Avery was out of sight, "Where is my lady." He huffed. The man had swung over to her house, looking at the same mansion she lived in. He got much nostalgia filling up inside him, his heart beated faster and faster as his finger pressed the door bell. He clenched his shirt, tapping his foot against the floor in anxiety. The door creaked open, a lady had put her head out of the door. "Hello Ma’am." He’d speak, looking pale and shallow. "Have you seen Avery?" He spoke as he looked down at his feet. The lady nodded and led him inside to a couch, which she called out for Avery. Avery’s orange hair was falling down her back, posture slightly crooked and she came attached in gazes with the Vampire. Avery stepped back a bit and started to shake and put her hands behind her back fidgeting with her fingers. "Hello, Wade." She said silently. The vampire flew up to her face, getting down on his knees. "Please forgive me Avery, I didn’t mean to harm you." He said on the verge of tears, and Avery helped him up, but backed up slightly. "Wade, you know I can’t be with you anymore." Wade had stomped, making the house shake. "WHY NOT AVERY? IVE ONLY TRIED TO TREAT YOU RIGHT." He yelled, then proceeded to cover his mouth. "Sorry. I didn’t mean to yell." He replied. Avery lowered her head and put her collar down, seeing a bite mark. "You bit me."

Wade had shook his head, "It was a accident, I thought you wanted to be marked." Avery shot her head up, and yelled. "You didn’t ask." Avery stormed off, slamming her door. The lady had pushed Wade out the door, grumbling. Wade had grabbed the flower out of his pocket, seeing it wilted from her hate. The flower bloomed when Avery’s love was standing, and the flower was dead. Wade had sat outside her window, protecting her room.. Wade sobbed silently, his palms shaking. Avery stood up, opening her window, sitting on the window with Wade. "Wade, I can’t love you, but I care about you." Wade had lifted his head up, "I thought you did." Avery touched his hand, smiling. "We can still be together. But not in love, we can unite as friends"

Wade sighed, putting his hands in his lap. "You know I won’t give up on you." Avery giggled, "I know, but I’m not either." They paused. "We can be together." They said in unison. As they dazed in the night sky, and the big pale moon as it rushed with stars.

"We have.. each other."
