Rhythm and Rhyme
Just start writing do not think too much
Not about rhyme and meter and such
For you always deliver when in the clutch
You do it all the time.
Whether you are reciting at a poetry slam
Or with somebody’s band you start to jam
Or even just eating _Green Eggs and Ham_
You always do rhyme.
Speaking of food, you cook with such grace
With all of your food, I must stuff my face
I run to the table as if it was a race
You season with thyme.
Grace and aplomb are such a part of your life
Your life’s like a poem even during strife
I would like that in all of my life
You are rhythm and rhyme.
