POEM STARTER

The Scars on Our Hearts
Write a poem which could have this as the title.
Solace
Am I only the interpretation of another
The soulless memory of a friend
The forgotten words of an acquaintance
The truth held within side
Holds no lie
Yet is truth even truthful
The past sins seeking penance
Only to reap more kin
Just to become a withered petal
Forgotten
Only by a word, remembered
Yet to be caught by the wind and blown away
The petal seeks the reconnection to the flower
But the flower has already grown new petals
Beseeching the world of the damned, the despised, and the unlivid
To beg for penance yet to be damned to wither
The withered petal does not die
However it stays in eternal separation of what once was
Something beautiful becomes evil.
